Act on all fronts to curb black money

Any estimate of black money, in India or anywhere in the world, is likely to be off the mark, although various figures are routinely bandied about to embarrass governments. Economists and others are yet to arrive at a satisfactory means of determining the extent of the so-called black money in circulation in a country, or generated in the past and deposited with banks overseas willing to host funds whose origins could be dodgy.
