ED registers money laundering case against NSEL board

Currently, Amit Mukherjee, formerly in charge of business development, and Jai Bahukhandi, warehousing in charge, have been taken into custody by the police till October 18. "The police have been busy looking into the account entries of NSEL along with (former) CFO (S Kotian) and interrogating the two employees who are in their custody.... Certain things being reflected in the forensic audit report (by Grant Thorton) and also being reflected in the site visits by EOW and certain allegations made by defaulters and investors are being cross-checked and verified with those arrested," said police sources.
