Bharti denies tampering with evidence

A day after reports surfaced that the Delhi High Court had indicted Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti, the law minister has refuted all claims against him. In a press brief held on Tuesday in an apparent attempt to defend himself, Bharti claimed the report was a "deliberate attempt" to malign his reputation. "CBI is misusing its power and I was only trying to collect evidence to prove the innocence of my client," Bharti said.
