Congress was split on backing AAP… it was an unnecessary decision, says Chidambaram

Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram said on Sunday that the Congress’s decision to support the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi was an “unnecessary decision”. In an interview to The Indian Express, he said opinion was divided within the Congress on whether it should offer outside support to the AAP.
