Bihar poll tracker: BJP may win 16-24 seats, JDU 7-13, RJD 6-10

Even though the BJP is the most preferred in the Lok Sabha polls, voters still back the JDU in the event of Assembly elections. The break-up with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in June 2013 seems to have gone against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his party the Janata Dal (United). With the Narendra Modi wave sweeping the state, the JD(U) is likely to come a distant second to the BJP if Lok Sabha elections are held in January 2014 as per the Lokniti-IBN National Tracker poll.
