Modi-led BJP to win big in Bihar, party likely to capture 24 out of 40 seats: ABP News-Nielsen Poll

According to the latest ABP News-Nielsen Opinion poll, the BJP will emerge as the largest party in Bihar if Lok Sabha elections are held at this point of time. A total of 4518 respondents from Bihar were surveyed in this Opinion Poll. Bihar, which has 40 Lok Sabha seats, the main opposition BJP is expected to win 24 seats while it had won only 12 in 2009 polls. BJP’s vote-share percentage has elevated by almost 21 % as compared to 13.98 percent which was the actual vote share in the previous election. The ruling Janata Dal (United) is expected to win just 6 seats. Nitish’s party had won 20 seats in 2009. JD-U’s vote share percentage has dipped from 23.8 % to 11 %.
