‘Arranged meetings of DU prof with Naxals’

Chhattisgarh Police on Monday paraded suspected Maoist Badri Gawde, who claimed to have facilitated meetings between DU Professor Nandini Sundar and other Maoists, before the media in Raipur. Gawde, a Congress worker, also claimed that Sundar had formed Rawghat Rail Sangharsh Samiti at the behest of Maoists to oppose the rail project in the region. Maoists have opposed the project that will facilitate iron ore mining in Kanker.
