‘NCP-BJP talks’ set off political tremors

Nationalist Congress Party of Sharad Pawar has raised doubts about its commitment to the UPA, saying its options on alliances were open. Barely days after Union minister Praful Patel urged the political class to accept the clean chit to Narendra Modi on anti-Muslim riots, he said the NCP's "options were open".
