Jan Lokpal Bill: Law ministry tells LG central approval needed

Living up to his assertion "to go to any extent" to get Jan Lokpal Bill passed, chief minister Arvind Kejirwal seems to be gearing for a showdown. The Bill is likely to be tabled in a special session of the assembly on Thursday. However, with the law ministry clarifying that Delhi government needs prior consent of the Centre before it can table the Bill and both Opposition BJP and Congress insisting on "constitutional provisions only" for their support, the eventual outcome is anybody's guess.
