BJP, Cong stall Delhi assembly, revolt against Speaker

As violence and vandalism ruled Lok Sabha on Thursday, the Delhi assembly wasn't too far behind. On Day One of the special assembly session, BJP and Congress joined forces to demand the resignation of AAP minister Somnath Bharti, with members ripping off mikes, snatching documents and finally voting to strip the Speaker of his powers to control the situation.
