Lokpal search stumbles at Nariman point

Eminent jurist Fali S. Nariman has snubbed the UPA government by refusing to be part of the Lokpal search panel, terming the entire selection process "ludicrous" and "farcical". "I do fear that the most competent and the most independent and the most courageous will get overlooked," the senior lawyer said in a letter to Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office V. Narayanasamy on Thursday.
