Mad rush: Politicians rain sops just in time

Netas across the land raced against time to inaugurate, launch, facilitate, gift, give, present and announce before the Model Code of Conduct kicked in on Wednesday morning. The code goes into operation with the announcement of the Lok Sabha poll schedule, and it was no secret that the Election Commission would do that on Wednesday.
