Whizkid Chidambaram not shining for UPA anymore
No one can testify better than our home minister the veracity of the old saying that trouble seldom comes alone. When it begins to rain, it’s not a drizzle, it pours. First, there was the storm in the chewing gum packs, then allegation of complicity in the 2G scam, followed by accusations about the conflict of interest pertaining to the home ministry’s recommendation to withdrawal of cases against a former client of P Chidambaram. And as if this wasn’t enough, the Amicus Curiae has recently communicated to the Supreme Court that it appears that the controversial decision to expel Baba Ramdev and his followers agitating peacefully in Ramlila Maidan was taken following Chidambaram’s ‘directions’.
