Congress has begun mending fences with Trinamool Congress. The Congress central leadership has directed its raucous West Bengal unit to pipe down attack on Mamata Banerjee and her party.  "The central leadership has asked state unit leaders to exercise restraint. We have also advised them to open channels of communication with the Trinamool Congress leaders," Congress general secretary in charge of West Bengal Shakeel Ahmad said here on Thursday.
