Telecom policy for the future

The recent Supreme Court verdict cancelling 122 telecom licences and foreign stakeholder exit foretell grim prospects for telecom in India. However, the recent policy announcements by the minister as per the New Telecom Policy (NTP), 2011, hold out hope.
