Kingfisher blames I-T dept for flight disruptions; no bailout: Govt

While Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Monday asked Kingfisher Airlines CEO Sanjay Aggarwal to appear before it on Tuesday to explain the cancellation and Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh ruled out any bailout for the carrier, the airline put the blame on Income Tax authorities for the large-scale flight disruptions, saying freezing of its bank accounts by them had severely affected payment schedules resulting into curtailment in its services.
