Indian drug cos hit US jackpot in Dec quarter

Five of India’s top 10 pharma firms collectively raked in their best quarterly revenues in the US in October-December. During this period, total US earnings of Ranbaxy Labs, Dr Reddy’s, Sun Pharma, Lupin and Zydus Cadila almost touched R5,000 crore. This is 80% of what Ranbaxy, Dr Reddy’s, Lupin and Cadila cumulatively earn from their domestic business every year.
