Unmindful of the crisis situation in the aviation sector, our blue-eyed bureaucrats saddled in their 'hot' seats audaciously bend the rules for their and spouses' pleasure trips abroad. According  to an RTI disclosure to The Pioneer, by the the Public sector travel agent Balmer & Lawrie, the company clearly flouted the rules to facilitate air tickets to the bureaucrats and their spouses and arranged 8624 excursion fare tickets for the Government functionaries on account of international travel in the year 2010 and 2011(till August).
