Iran oil sanctions: US exempts 11 countries, but not India, China

The United States has virtually put India, China and 10 other countries on notice for possibly tough economic sanctions over their failure to significantly reduce oil imports from Iran, even as it exempted Japan and 10 European nations on this score.
