The BJP on Thursday highlighted the plight of Tibetan refugees, who are facing a lot of harassment from Delhi Police in view of Chinese Premier Hu Jintao’s visit for the ongoing BRICS summit. The party termed it as a shame for democracy. Raising the matter with a ‘heavy heart’ in the Rajya Sabha during the Zero Hour, BJP leader Balbir Punj charged that the Delhi Police was trampling the people’s fundamental rights in the name of summit  just to placate the leader of the neighbouring country.
