Govt-Army ties at all-time low: BJP

In a measured response, the BJP on Wednesday said it was “assured” by clarifications from the Army and government on The Indian Express report on unscheduled movement of two Army units in January, but underlined that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should proactively restore the equilibrium between the Defence Ministry and the Armed Forces.
