Municipal first: Delhi picks 3 corporations today

Starting 8am on Sunday, the city's 1.15 crore voters will make history by electing councillors to the three new municipal corporations that will replace the 54-year-old Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Despite the trifurcation of the civic body, the number of candidates has come down from 2,575 in 2007 to 2,423 this time.
