A vote against Congress misrule

Describing their victory in the municipal elections as a referendum against Congress “misrule”, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on Tuesday also saw in it an appreciation of the “transparent and accountable” governance provided by the party in Delhi during the five years of its rule. “It was unfortunate that the Congress divided the MCD into three corporations. However, the people have taught the party a lesson for the arrogance with which it has been running the government,” said Delhi BJP president Vijender Gupta at a press conference here.
