It is the South Delhi Municipal Corporation in which the BJP, the leading party these civic polls, failed to get a clean sweep courtesy the Independents and regional parties. It is the only corporation where rebel candidates made the most impact, especially in rural areas, leaving the BJP with no choice but to seek support from the Independents to claim a majority.
