Maoists threaten trial of MLA in praja court

Bending further under mounting pressure, the Odisha Government on Wednesday announced withdrawal of cases against 13 persons belonging to the Maoists and the Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS) even as ‘comrade’ Aruna on behalf of the Andhra-Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC) of the CPI (Maoist) leader Jagabandhu declared in their last audio tape to decide the fate of the abducted MLA at a ‘praja court’ on Thursday virtually rejecting the Government’s offer.
