Urban inflation at double digit again

There seems to be no respite from stubborn prices. Consumer price inflation rose sharply in March on the back of an increase in milk, oils and fats, egg, meat and fish prices, posing a fresh policy headache. Data released by the Central Statistics Office on Wednesday showed the annual inflation rate based on the consumer price index for March rose 9.47% compared to February's 8.83%.
