Goaded by a dozen major American industry bodies, US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was on Thursday expected to raise the controversial issue of retrospective tax with Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. Mukherjee, who has arrived in Washington on a four-day visit to attend the IMF-World Bank spring meetings, kicks off his packed agenda with a bilateral meeting with Geithner.
