SC panel probe report stalls BSY comeback bid

BJP’s  Karnataka strongman BS Yeddyurappa’s hope of a comeback  as Chief Minister received a jolt on Friday when the Supreme Court-appointed environmental panel recommended a probe by CBI into the alleged irregularities in grant of mining leases during his tenure and the subsequent “profits” reaped by his family members.
