BJP national president Nitin Gadkari called on Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray at the latter’s residence on Friday night, in an apparent effort to remove the “misunderstanding” that had crept into their relations a few months ago. Gadkari, who arrived at the Sena chief’s Bandra residence at around 9.30 pm, spent two hours interacting freely with Sr Thackeray and his party’s executive president-son Uddhav, discussing State and national political issues.
