Panel finds chinks in Army’s armour

The parliamentary standing committee on defence is likely to substantially endorse Army chief General V K Singh's concern about critical shortages in Army's ammunition and border connectivity in its upcoming report on the demands for grants of the defence ministry. However, it is unlikely to paint an extremely alarmist picture as Gen Singh's letter to the Prime Minister did.
