Telecom Commission tosses the 2G ball back into Trai’s court

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) recommendations on 2G spectrum have failed to convince the Telecom Commission, which on Monday referred the matter back to the regulator seeking clarity on issues relating to the calculation of the reserve price, impact on tariffs, refarming of the 900 MHz spectrum and the quantum of spectrum to be auctioned.
