News broadcasters protest Trai's carriage fee proposal

Expressing its "shock and dismay" at the Trai's recommendation for a mandatory "carriage fee" - or, the money that broadcasters have to pay cable companies for them to carry their channel - the News Broadcasters Association (NBA) has urged the Trai and the government to reconsider the proposal and, indeed, scrap it altogether.
