S&P ratings of Spain, Italy 2 notches higher than India

Even though European nations like Spain, Italy and Ireland are facing debt crisis, Standard and Poor’s has said that their income and economic structures are better than that of India. This is the reason given by the rating agency for assigning them higher rating as compared to India. Besides, the euro is a reserve currency unlike rupee and so it has great acceptance.
