A nosediving sector

The minister of civil aviation, Ajit Singh, informed the Rajya Sabha on May 3, 2012, that total operation losses for all airlines for the years 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 are R19,000 crore and a R10,000 crore loss is anticipated in 2011-12. Except for Indigo, all airlines are in the red.
