Cutting across political lines, Opposition parties in the Lok Sabha on Monday blamed the Centre for “doing injustice to the States” and encroaching into their powers. Even UPA allies Trinamool Congress and DMK MPs supported the views of BJP and Left MPs on the “attitude of Congress party” towards State Governments and misuse of Article 356 and contentious issue of sharing of tax revenue with states.
