Concerned over Army chief General VK Singh’s showcause notice to 3 Corps commander Lt General Dalbir Suhag, who is likely to become the chief after two years, the Defence Ministry is likely to seek a report from the Army. Singh had on Wednesday issued a showcause notice to Suhag regarding allegation of misappropriation of funds by an intelligence unit of his corps during an operation in Jorhat, Assam last year.
