Anna raises sights, slaps graft charges on PM, Pranab

Activist Anna Hazare and his team escalated their fight with the UPA government on Saturday by accusing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and finance minister Pranab Mukherjee for first time in corruption cases. A letter to the Prime Minister, signed by Hazare, listed 15 Union ministers — including Singh and Mukherjee — for alleged roles in corruption cases and demanded the government set up an independent special investigation team by July 24.
