Modi condemns CPI(M) ‘politics of murders'
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday condemned CPI(M) leader M. M. Mani's “revelations” about political murders in Kerala and questioned the silence of the National Human Rights Commission and the Centre on the issue. Reacting to Mr. Mani's speech, published in a section of the press, Mr. Modi said the CPI(M) leader's language read like that of Maoists inciting violence, and described it as the greatest challenge facing democracy in the country.
