Opposition demands CBI probe into ‘purchase' of MLA

Uproarious scenes marked the opening day of the Budget session of the Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha on Monday with opposition Bharatiya Janata Party members entering the well of the House shouting anti-Government slogans seeking a discussion and CBI probe into alleged “purchase” of the former BJP MLA from Sitarganj, Kiran Mandal, by the ruling Congress.
