The arrest of YSR Congress party president and Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy by the CBI in the alleged disproportionate assets case should have come as a rude shock to the party leaders and cadres at a time when the campaigning for the ongoing byelections in Andhra Pradesh is at its peak. For a political party, it is a big disadvantage to have its star campaigner out of the field.
