Ideal austerity! Rs 30 lakh for 2 loos’ facelift

India may be faced with a major sanitation crisis with as high as 65 per cent of the population devoid of toilet facilities, but the Planning Commission has the luxury to spend a whopping Rs 30 lakh for the renovation of just two toilets at its headquarters in New Delhi.
