Marriage of 15-year-old Muslim girl upheld

Quoting the Mohammedan Law on marriage which says “a Muslim can marry without the consent of her parents when she attains the age of puberty”, the Delhi High Court has upheld the marriage of a 15-year-old girl of the community and allowed her to stay with her husband, dismissing the charge of kidnapping levelled by her mother against the boy.
