In complete defiance to HRD Minister Kapil Sibal, the prestigious IIT Kanpur on Friday announced that it would hold a separate entrance examinations for entry to IIT-K 2013. The special requisition meeting of the IIT-K academic senate on Friday passed a resolution that the institute would conduct an independent examination for the engineering aspirants for 2013.
