Despite the appointment of the Backward Classes Commission and naming of its chairman and members by the Rajasthan Government, the members of the Gujjar community led by Kirori Singh Bainsla continued their “maha padav” (siege) for the third day on Saturday. The immediate demand of the agitators, now at Kushalipura Darrah in Sawai Madhopur district, is implementation of the four per cent quota promised to the Special Backward Classes in admission to the educational institutions during the current academic session.
