When it comes to finance minister Pranab Mukherjee, the Congress does not subscribe to the adage, "Nobody is indispensable". The workaholic Presidential hopeful has been so accustomed to carrying an impressive burden on his not-so-broad shoulders that the party has got used to his omnipresence, may be, even his omniscience. Mukherjee never failed to astonish Congress functionaries by recalling precedents from impressively concealed storehouses in his memory.
