TC, SP bargain hard with Cong over Prez choice

UPA ally Trinamool Congress (TC) and supporting party Samajwadi Party (SP) continue to keep the Congress on tenterhooks over the Presidential election for which the Election Commission is expected to issue a notification shortly. Both West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh Governments are clamouring for a financial package from the Centre.
