Sena breaks ranks on Prez choice again

The first cracks in the NDA on the Presidential candidate appeared on Tuesday after its ally Shiv Sena sought “unanimous election” of Pranab Mukherjee to the post of President. Sena chief Bal Thackeray chose to describe Mukherjee as the “right choice” for the top post, even before the NDA could collectively take a call on the matter.
