The RSS and BJP have hit out at Janata Dal (United) for its  attack on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi,  prompting the NDA’s Bihar ally to harden its position on alliance’s Prime Ministerial candidate. The row triggered by  Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s interview to a business daily on Tuesday intensified further on Wednesday with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat blaming the former’s vote bank consideration behind his demand for a “secular” leader becoming NDA’s prime ministerial candidate.
