Sangma dares Dada, Cong rejects debate

Trying to put Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on defensive for the “sinking economy”, former Lok Sabha speaker PA Sangma on Friday challenged the UPA’s Presidential nominee for a debate ahead of the July 19 elections. However, the Congress rejected the challenge as a non-starter saying the President is not responsible for managing the economy of the country.
