BJP defuses Karnataka crisis, ministers withdraw resignation

The faction led by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa in the ruling BJP in Karnataka, which is pressing for a replacement of Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, took a conciliatory step on Monday by complying with the party high command’s demand for withdrawal of the resignations by nine ministers.
